The National Environment Monitoring Conference returns for its third year exploring 'Building Momentum - Strengthening the UK’s Environmental Monitoring Community'.
The deadline for submitting talks and posters for NEMC 2026 is fast approaching - submit your talk here.
NEMC brings together researchers, practitioners, policymakers and environmental professionals to share experience, insights and lessons from environmental monitoring activities across the UK.
We're keen to hear about a wide range of work, including monitoring programmes, datasets, methods, tools, case studies, partnerships and emerging research.

- Submission deadline 18 September 2026
- Notification of outcome: 5 October 2026
Poster submissions are also welcomed and provide an opportunity to share projects, monitoring activities and early findings with the wider community.
Funding is also available for 20 Early Career Researchers (ECRs) to attend the conference.
