Shape the future of the EIDC - online event

The Environmental Information Data Centre (EIDC) is part of the Natural Environment Research Council's (NERC) Environmental Data Service and is hosted by the UK Centre for Ecology & Hydrology (UKCEH). It manages nationally-important datasets concerned with the terrestrial and freshwater sciences and helps researchers in ensuring that the data produced are curated appropriately for the long-term, guaranteeing their security, accessibility and re-usability for the user community.

Why join this event?

The EIDC strives to continually improve their Data Centre to meet community needs, and invite you to contribute and collaborate on developing their services and tools This online event will explore some of the tools and services they offer, specifically, how they can improve users’ experience of finding, accessing and depositing data with them.

During the event, there will be short presentations on current services and small, facilitated breakout sessions to gain insight into users’ views of their services and tools.

This event is open to all current or potential users of the EIDC. They’d also like to hear from you if you have used other data centres or repositories.
