River Chess perceptual model consultation

The FDRI team has been working with many of you to help understand the River Chess sub-catchment of the Thames basin. With this information we have created a perceptual model of the hydrological features and processes in the catchment.  Perceptual models are fundamental to FDRI as they will be used to develop catchment monitoring designs.

We are now asking for your feedback on the Chess perceptual model. We need your help to check if we have missed any important knowledge or existing understanding of the hydrological features and processes in the catchment.

A second round of consultation, in spring 2025, will focus on our proposed monitoring design.

To find out more go to our River Chess perceptual model page

Responses will be continually monitored, and we’d really appreciate any early feedback. To inform our design we would like responses by Friday 31 January.   However, we will welcome responses later than 31 January as the design will be an iterative process and we will endeavour to take account of all contributions.
